Christina Hennessey became a dedicated advocate for seniors in 2012, when a loved one living abroad began to decline cognitively and physically. After a dementia diagnosis, challenges to protect her loved one presented themselves. Christina’s status as an alternate decision-maker for her elderly loved one was questioned. After battling the legal system, and after three Court Orders and consents, Christina was re-united with her loved one who is today much better protected physically, emotionally and financially.
With Christina’s hands on senior advocate experience, tenacity, perseverance, and passion to help seniors she reached out to Wish of a Lifetime, a non-profit, senior advocate organization headquartered in Denver, CO. to represent them in Boston.
In 2015, Mature Caregivers, a full-service, national eldercare agency, hired Christina as Community Relations Executive. In this role she works closely with other complementary businesses in the senior market and assists families with their elder care needs.
As a Senior Advocate, Christina can deliver strategies and hope to those who face the excruciating challenges of eldercare.
Prior to moving to the U.S.A. from Toronto, Canada, Christina worked for 12 years in marketing communications and media relations with North American marquee clients. She has a proven business development, marketing, promotions, sponsorship, event and relationship management; and community volunteer track record.
Christina is a tenacious, self-motivated, goal-oriented and determined team player. She is a true leader; with a focused eye on results.
