Julieanne Steinbacher

Julieanne is the founding shareholder of Steinbacher, Goodall & Yurchak, an elder care and special needs law firm established in 2002 and a Certified Elder Law Attorney (CELA). She has a “Superb” AVVO Rating for attorneys and was a Super Lawyers Rising Star in 2013. Julieanne is also a recipient of a 2015 Pennsylvania Bar Association Special Achievement Award, given to her for dedication and commitment to the Pennsylvania Bar Association’s Quality of Life & Balance Committee. A significant portion of her elder law practice specializes in estate and long-term care planning. As an attorney, her goal is to provide a bridge between legal services and our aging population.  As a gerontologist and former social worker, she has seen the devastating effects of failing to plan for the long-term care needs of the elderly. Many people come to her feeling hopeless about having the ability to pay the exorbitant costs of elder care– which she seeks to remedy.

She has extensive lecturing experience, as a speaker for The Pennsylvania State University Tax Institutes, PICPA-Pennsylvania Institute of Certified Public Accountants, National Association of Tax Practitioners-PA Chapter, and Pennsylvania Society of Public Accountants, among others.

Julieanne is the President of Estate & Long Term Care Planning, Inc., a company which provides continuing education and coaching for the public and professionals in Pennsylvania.  Her writings on estates, trusts, and taxation have been published by the University of Illinois and other print media. Julieanne and her former law partner, Adrianne J. Stahl, Esquire, authored two books about trusts: Pennsylvania Trust Guide and Pennsylvania Special Needs Planning Guide. Recently, Steinbacher and Stahl– along with nine other leading elder law attorneys– co-authored Protect Your Family! Don’t Write a Blank Check to the Nursing Home.  The book offers the essential tools and knowledge for effective long-term care planning. She is also a co-author of – Protect your Family! What You Really Need to Know for the Second Half of Life.

Julieanne resides in Jersey Shore with her husband, Donald, her three children, Cortney, Stephanie, and D.J., and their two dogs, Steiny and Fluffy.
